I find that a good weekend sets you up for the week. So, can you plan something mindful and invigorating to do outside this weekend? Or this week? Find something that suits your needs or if you have a family, enjoy planning an adventure that you can experience together. Create some memories, venture outside and as the above quote so wonderfully reminds us, ‘the whole world belongs to you’.

Days of Christmas Past – a truly magical experience at the Ulster American Folk Park in Co. Tyrone. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to bring a traditional taste to the Christmas season. This museum is definitely worth a visit. I went here with my family as a child during the summer months and absolutely loved it! I cherish the great memories I have from that trip.
The Milk Market is definitely one of Limerick City’s hidden gems. Regardless of the time of the year, this little meeting point is a hub of fine food and creativity every weekend. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, it has! As the Milk Market will be hosting a Christmas Market from Sunday 5th to 7th December, Friday – Sunday 12th to 14th December and Wednesday 17th to Wednesday 24th December. What are you waiting for? Go enjoy some mulled wine at one of the country’s most charming city markets!

Dublin – take a hike around the stunning Howth Head. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like, wrap up warm and cosy and get out and about to enjoy some of our beautiful coastal views. Soak in the salty air and let those cheeks turn rosy red!
I often went here as a young child with my parents. And myself and my siblings adored the cliff walk adventure!! Enjoy some fish and chips as a treat in Beshoff’s afterwards or cosy up in a seaside pub for a hot port!
Howth also offers a fabulous farmers market every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm. If you plan mindfully in advance, you could sneak in a bit of shopping as well as a walk.
